American Kobe Style Rib-eye

u.s. kobe rib-eyeIngredients:

  1. 1.6 kls. rib-eye or tenderloin
  2. ¼ cup mixed herb rub:
    • Parsley
    • Thyme
    • Oregano
    • Garlic
    • Paprika
    • Olive oil

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Season steak with the mixed herb rub.
  2. Grill according to desired doneness.
  3. Serve with Hollandaise sauce.

Hollandaise Sauce

  • 3 egg yolks

  • 2 teaspoons mustard

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • 1 tbs. lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Procedure:

  1. Whisk egg yolks, mustard and cayenne pepper into a double boiler.
  2. Add melted butter slowly until well-emulsified.
  3. Add lemon juice.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
