Barbecued Beef

Ingredients:beef

  • 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin tips
  • 1 can (10 ½ ounces) tomato puree
  • 1 ½ tbsps. chili powder
  • 2/3 c. catsup
  • 1/3 c. water
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. onion flakes

Procedure:

  1. In a sauce pan brown meat lightly on all sides over medium heat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook until meat is tender and sauce is thick; about 45-60 minutes.
