Beef Roast

Ingredients:

• 5-7 lbs rump or sirloin tip roast

 

Procedure:

1. Place roast in preheated Dutch Oven.
2. Sear well on all sides, about 30 minutes.

3. Cover pan with Dutch Oven top.

4. Reduce heat to low when steam comes out from under top.

5. Cook two hours, or until done.

Valentine Mexican Roast Dinner

 

Ingredients:

• 2 lbs. beef roast
• 1 diced onion
• ½ tsp. salt
• ¼ tbsp. pepper
• 2 tbsp. hot chili sauce
• 4 ripe tomatoes, diced

Procedure:

1. Preheat pan about 5 minutes.
   Brown meat  on all sides
   Add all ingredients except tomatoes; cover and cook over medium to low heat for 30 minutes.
2. Add tomatoes and continue cooking until roast is tender.
