Braised vegetables
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. ginger, julienned
- ½ kg. fresh mixed vegetables of your choice
- ½ c. hot water
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp. water
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a wok and add sesame oil, garlic and ginger.
- Add vegetables and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add hot water, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add dissolved cornstarch. Stir until sauce thickens.
- Serve with rice.
