Easy Tempura Recipe

Ingredients: tempura

  • ½ k. fresh shrimps

  • 1 c. all purpose flour, sifted

  • 1 c. water

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

  • ¼ tsp. salt

Procedure:

  1. Shell shrimps, slit the back and open butterfly fashion.

  2. Devein and wash thoroughly.

  3. Dry Set aside in a cool place.

  4. In a bowl prepare the batter by combining water, egg, flour and salt. Stir 5 times.

  5. mixture should be lumpy.

  6. Dip shrimps in the batter and deep fat fry.

  7. Serve hot with Tempura sauce.

Tempura Sauce

Ingredients:

  • ½ c. hot water

  • 1pc. Bouillon cube

  • 1tbsps. Soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • ½ tsp. aji-no-moto

  • 1 tsp. ginger, grated

  • 1tbsps. Radish, grated

Procedure:

1. Combine all ingredients together and serve with tempura.
