Ham Noodle
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsps. Butter or margarine
- 3 tbsps. Flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1 ½ c. beer
- 1 pound shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces noodles, cooked
- 2 quarts water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. diced cooked ham
Procedure:
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Blend in flour, salt and mustard and cook until bubbly.
- Stir in pepper sauce and beer; cook 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low; add cheese and cook until creamy, stirring constantly.
- Bring water to boil in sauce pan; add salt and noodles.
- Stir; cook 8-10 minutes, until noodles are tender.
- Drain in steamer unit.
- Add noodles and ham to sauce and mix well. Heat 3-4 minutes.
