Low Fat – Saucy steak

steak low fatMakes 6 Servings 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½  lb Beef cubed steak
  • 1 cn Condensed cream of mushroom Soup
  • 1/3 c Plain low fat yogurt
  • 1 tbs Dry white wine
  • 1 cn (4 oz) sliced mushrooms
  • paprika

Preparation:

  1. Place meat in a microwave safe 12 x 7 1/2 x 2" baking dish.
  2. Cover with clear plastic wrap; vent by leaving a small area unsealed at edge of dish.
  3. Microcook on 100% (HIGH) for 6 to 8 minutes or until done, turning the meat and rearranging once.
  4. Let meat stand, covered, while preparing sauce.
  5. For sauce, in a 2 cup microwave safe measure cup, stir the soup, yogurt, and wine.
  6. Stir in mushrooms.
  7. Cook, uncovered, for 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through,stirring once
  8. .Transfer the meat to a serving platter.
  9. Pour the sauce over.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
