Pizza Style Blue Marlin Recipe

Ingredients: 

  • 4 pcs blue marlin fillet (120 grms. each) seasoned with calamansi, salt and pepper
  • ½ cup flour, for dredging
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 pc ripe mango, diced DSC00851
  • ½ pc cucumber, diced
  • 1 pc red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 2 pcs salad
  • Tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lime and ½ tsp lime zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Dredge seasoned blue marlin fillet with flour.
  2. In a preheated pan, place 4 tablespoons of olive oil and sear prepared marlin fillets over medium flame.  Set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, combine all mango, veggies, vinegar, remaining olive oil, lime juice and zest in a bowl.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Top marlin fillets with mixed ingredients for a more attractive finish.
