Valentine Banana Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 15 pcs. Grahams (biscuit) Honey
  • 4 pcs. Lacatan bananas, sliced ¼ thickgraham recipe
  • 5 tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 can (380ml) evaporated milk
  • 3 pcs. Egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup all purpose cream, chilled & whipped

Procedure:

  1. CREAM- In a pan, mix cornstarch, sugar and milk. 
  2. Cook over low heat until cornstarch and sugar are dissolved. 
  3. In a bowl, mix egg yolks and half of milk mixture. 
  4. Pour egg-milk mixture into the pan. 
  5. Stir, add vanilla and butter. 
  6. Simmer on low heat until thick. 
  7. Add bananas. 
  8. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  9. LAYER- In an 8 x 8 pan, layer Grahams. 
  10. Pour ½ of mixture spread evenly. 
  11. Do one more layer alternating Grahams and mixture.
  12. CHILL and TOP with whipped cream. 
  13. Serve.
