Valentine Fudge Brownies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 120 unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed

- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 whole eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup walnuts, almonds, cashews or pecans
Cooking Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Grease and line a 9” x 9” x 2” baking pan. Set aside.
- Melt together chocolate and butter in a mixing bowl placed over another pan with boiling water (or melt in microwave oven).
- Cool to lukewarm.
- Whisk together both sugars, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, eggs, and egg yolk until light about 5 minutes.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Set aside.
- Add melted chocolate into beaten eggs.
- Fold in dry ingredients.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Top with nuts.
- Baked for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Cool completely then cut into bars.
- The light syrup will make your brownies moist and chewy.
